Students must fill out an application to be considered for this program. Electronic applications are available on this website, and paper applications can be picked up from high school guidance offices, the Ithaca Youth Bureau, GIAC, and Southside Community Center.
There are two application deadlines for our Spring 2008 Program. Applications submitted by December 15, 2007 will be considered first. Applications can continue to be submitted until January 27, 2008.
It should take you approximately an hour to complete the application - but don't wait until the last minute! The earlier you submit your application, the better. Read the application packet thoroughly and follow the directions closely while completing your application. If you don't understand something, be sure to ask.
Electronic applications should be e-mailed to letsgetready@cornell.edu. Paper applications can be mailed to or dropped off at Let’s Get Ready, Cornell University Public Service Center, 200 Barnes Hall, Ithaca, NY 14853. Sophomores, juniors, and seniors will be allowed to participate in the Fall 2005 program, but priority will be given to juniors.
Please attend our first diagnostic test January 31, 2008 from 5:30-7:00 at the Ithaca High School. In order to participate in the spring program, all students must take the first diagnostic. If this date causes a problem, please contact us at letsgetready@cornell.edu to schedule a make-up date.
Cornell Undergraduates should complete and submit the coach application. Cornell Chapter coach applications will be treated on a first-come, first-serve basis. Please read through this website thoroughly before submitting an application.
Coach applications should be downloaded from this site, completed in Microsoft Word, saved, and emailed to letsgetready@cornell.edu as e-mail attachments. If you cannot send attachments from your home computer, please use a computer in a campus computer lab to submit your application. If all else fails, print it out and leave it at the Public Service Center, 200 Barnes Hall, in the Let's Get Ready! mailbox.
