Encourage Young Engineers & Scientists (EYES)Developing Tomorrow's Engineers Today

EYES is a community service organization that is committed to promoting engineering and the sciences as career fields, and to increasing the math and science skills of elementary, middle, and high school students.

We wish to benefit society as a whole by encouraging local youth to succeed and achieve. EYES accomplishes its mission by tapping the wealth of talented undergraduate students to deliver exciting activities that instill an interest in math and science in children.

Each year, teams of undergraduate students from Cornell create exciting project-based math and science lessons and experiments that are taught at local schools and after school programs. Volunteers work closely with Cornell Public Service Center staff to ensure an academically enriching experience. We strive to develop lasting relationships with schools that foster reciprocal learning for Cornell students and local youth.

Recently EYES has been expanding and we are always recruiting new volunteers.  Please take a look at the rest of our website and feel free to contact us so you can get involved!
