CEP Garden Project
The CEP Garden Project began as just a budding idea in the minds of the past
leaders of CEP. They planned to turn an old parking lot at Lakeside Nursing Home
into a beautiful garden for residents and their visitors to enjoy.
After almost two years of planning and paper work, the project finally became
a reality! Contractors, students, and even professors volunteered their time
at the groundbreaking in April 2003.
CEP continues to maintain and improve the gardens at Lakeside, reseeding the
grass, painting the shed, and doing anything necessary to make the garden more
beautiful.
