The Cornell Public Service Center collects gently-used children's books
for the Bright Red Bookshelf program of the Family Reading Partnership
(FRP) of Tompkins County. This program offers low-income families access
to books by recirculating gently-used children's books back in to the
community free for families to keep. It is one of a number of FRP
projects that are designed to promote early experiences with books as
part of everyday family life for all children in the community. To
learn how your department can join the book drive and host a bright red
bookshelf, contact Kandea Mosley, Coordinator of K-12 Outreach,
at km288@cornell.edu.
