Alternative Breaks
Alternative Breaks is a student led program of the Cornell Public Service Center
that sends over 100 students every spring break to participate in drug- and alcohol-free
service learning oriented trips.
Join one of our amazing teams of students that will spend Spring Break tackling
service-learning projects on issues as varied as urban poverty, hunger, inadequate
housing, domestic violence, homelessness, civil rights, HIV/AIDS, farm-workers,
at-risk youth and environmental damage. Trip sites include Boston, Cape Cod, Lake
Placid, New York City, Orlando, Philadelphia and rural West Virginia.
