7th Annual Alternative Breaks 5K Run
Thank you for all those who have participated in the Alternative Breaks 5K Run!
It was a successful event and we greatly appreciate everyone who was there to
volunteer, run, cheer, and enjoy the event! And if you are interested in being
part the Alternative Breaks in other ways, please feel free to contact us at
altbreaks@cornell.edu.
All profits will go to Alternative Breaks, a service learning organization that
gives Cornell students the chance to spend their spring break volunteering. Past
trips include serving meals at an HIV/AIDS living center in Boston, teaching environmental
education in the Bronx, tutoring at a juvenile detention center in Lake Placid,
and teaching art classes at a battered women’s shelter in West Virginia. Thank
you for your support and enjoy the race!
