Community Partnership Grants

The Community Partnership Board (CPB), a student organization, seeks to foster leadership and social responsibility by encouraging students to take action against social problems. The CPB assists students in developing grassroots community action projects and administers grants from the Community Partnership Fund to make these projects possible. Up to $2000 per project per year is available in funding. The Community Partnership Board, funded projects, and community agency partners make up the Community Partnership. Together change is possible. The funding cycle begins in the fall semester. Through written applications and interviews, the CPB makes funding decisions based on its philosophy statement. All funding decisions are made before the end of the fall semester. In the spring, all funded organizations are honored at a reception where they are asked to present a summary and progress report of their project. Grant Applications for the 2009-2010 school year are due on October 8th at 5pm. Applications can be download here or picked up at the Public Service Center in 200 Barnes Hall.
