Event: Egg Drop 2008
Date & Time: Sun, April 6 @ 8:30am-1pm or 12:30-4:30pm
Description: The 23rd Annual Sciencenter Egg Drop encourages scientists of all ages, from pre-schoolers to senniors, to attempt to engineer the most creative, functional, anti-gravitational or impact-resistant flight vehicle for a raw chicken egg. This annual community event allows everyone to test scientific principles in a fun, hands-on way. Volunteers are needed to assit wtih registration/compliance of entries, checking dropped entries, and setup and take down.

Date & Time: Weekdays 3-4:30pm (except Monday)
Description: Discovery Space Assistant assists visitors in exploring science kit, restock box supplies, sign boxes in/out, help visitors with questions. There is a 15-30 minutes training/orientation.

Date & Time: 2-4 hrs/wk for a minimum of several months
Description: A touch tank volunteer is needed to guide visitors exploration of the salt water tide pool touch tank. Training will take approximately 2 hrs and scheduling is flexible.
