Description: The Learning Web is 501 c(3) organization that evolved out of a Cornell community
outreach project. The Web operates youth apprenticeship, service, and exploration
programs along with an outreach program for homeless and transient youth and young
adults. Although our core program is available to any county youth, most of our
clients are at-risk which includes low-income youth and youth who are facing significant
barriers. The student office assistant assist with general office duties, special
projects or fundraising events, and others.

Opportunity: Computer Network Assistant
Agency: Learning Web
Description: The student will assist in managing and maintaing the office LAN, trouble-shooting
problems with equipment and performing routine maintenance on computers such as
upgrading virus protection software, etc.; web page development and database development;
providing staff training as directed. The student may also, if time allows, provide
one-on-one assistance to Youth Outreach Program clients (homeless & transient
youth under the age of 25) who want to use the resources of the Youth Outreach
Computer Lab.
Salary: $9.00/hr (FWS required)
Hours: Mon-Fri between 8:30-5pm
