The annual symposium on service-learning is a component of the Faculty Fellow-In-Service (FFIS) program, a faculty program of the Cornell Public Service Center, which is governed by a faculty committee representing all six undergraduate colleges of the university. Faculty teaching service-learning courses or leading civic profesional projects who have received funding from the FFIS committee are commissioned to present their experiences at the faculty symposium and write their refelctions for the FFIS-Working Paper Series on Service-Learning.
